Individual Counseling
Individual counseling is a space where we look closely at the patterns, beliefs, and survival strategies shaped by your past — especially the impact of toxic or emotionally harmful parents. Together, we sort through what’s yours to carry and what never should have been.
Some sessions focus on healing old wounds or untangling family dynamics; others are about building skills, strengthening boundaries, and reconnecting with the parts of you that have always been resilient.
My role is to offer steadiness, perspective, and tools while helping you recognize the strengths you already have and use them to create healthier relationships, clearer choices, and a more grounded sense of self.
Finding the right therapist is a lot like finding the right fit in any relationship — you should feel safe, understood, and able to show up as your real self. It’s completely okay to take your time, ask questions, and choose someone who feels like a good fit for your needs and your story.
Before committing to a full session with me, I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to talk about what you’re looking for, how I work, and whether this feels like a good fit.
